Anthurium D.17 H.65 cm – Tropical Elegance in Bloom

The Anthurium (Anthurium andraeanum), also known as flamingo flower, is one of the most popular flowering indoor plants: with its waxy, glossy deep-red spathes and bright yellow spadix, it brings a touch of tropical luxury to any setting. Sturdy, long-lasting, and surprisingly easy to care for, this 65 cm tall specimen is perfect as a floor plant or decorative feature in living rooms, offices, and representative spaces.

Plant characteristics

• Pot diameter: 17 cm
• Plant height: approximately 65 cm
• Extended flowering, often year-round under optimal conditions
• Heart-shaped leaves in a glossy, deep green
• Ideal as a decorative plant for bright interiors

Care and maintenance

• Light: bright indirect light – avoid direct sunlight, which burns the leaves and fades the flowers
• Watering: moderate, allowing the top layer of substrate to dry out between waterings; avoid waterlogging
• Temperature: ideally between 18°C and 28°C; sensitive to temperatures below 15°C and cold drafts
• Humidity: it thrives in humid environments; mist the leaves or place it near a humidifier
• Fertilizing: every 2-3 weeks in spring and summer with liquid fertilizer for flowering plants

Give or bring home an Anthurium: a long-flowering plant that transforms any setting into a corner of timeless tropical elegance.
