When and how to water it
During summer, we recommend watering the peacock calathea every 7 days, while every 14 days is sufficient in winter. Be sure to water thoroughly, but let the soil dry slightly between waterings. A good way to check the soil moisture is to insert a finger into the substrate.
Temperature and humidity
This plant thrives in temperatures between 18 and 25 degrees Celsius. It does not tolerate temperatures below 10 degrees. Ideal humidity is around 40% to 60%, so it is advisable to maintain a moderately humid environment.
