Ficus lyrata prefers bright but indirect light. It is important to avoid direct exposure to the midday sun, which could damage its leaves. Place it near a bright window, shielded by a light curtain.

When and how to water it

During summer, water your Ficus lyrata every 7 days, while in winter you can reduce the frequency to every 14 days. Make sure the first 5 cm of soil are dry before watering, to prevent waterlogging.

Temperature and humidity

Ficus lyrata thrives in an environment with temperatures between 18 and 24 degrees Celsius. It does not tolerate temperatures below 10 degrees. Maintain humidity between 50% and 70% to ensure its well-being.
