Pachira prefers bright, indirect light. It is important to avoid exposure to direct midday sunlight, which could damage the leaves. Place it near a well-lit window, shielded by a light curtain to filter direct light.
When and how to water it
During summer, water your Pachira every 7 days, while in winter you can reduce the frequency to every 14 days. Make sure the top 3 cm of soil is dry before watering. This will help prevent overwatering problems.
Temperature and humidity
Pachira thrives in an environment with temperatures between 18 and 24 degrees Celsius. Avoid exposing it to temperatures below 10 degrees. The ideal humidity for this plant is between 50% and 70%. If the air is too dry, consider using a humidifier or misting the leaves with water.
