The moth orchid thrives in bright but filtered light. Ideally, place it in a bright room, while avoiding direct sunlight, especially during the summer months. During summer, an east-facing exposure is perfect, while in winter it can benefit from light coming from the west.
When and how to water it
To keep your moth orchid healthy, it is important to water it carefully. In summer, we recommend watering every 7 days, while every 10 days is sufficient in winter. Be sure to water lightly and allow the water to drain completely, avoiding letting the roots dry out completely or leaving the plant in standing water.
