Our peace lily, also known as the "peace lily", is an evergreen perennial plant native to Central America. At our nursery, we value it for its ability to purify the air and for the beauty of its glossy leaves and elegant white flowers. It is a perfect choice for anyone looking for an indoor plant that requires simple care while providing great satisfaction.
The right location
The peace lily prefers bright, indirect light. It is important to avoid direct exposure to the midday sun, which could damage its delicate leaves. Place it in a bright but protected spot, such as near a window shaded by a sheer curtain.
When and how to water it
During summer, we recommend watering your peace lily every 7 days, while in winter you can reduce the frequency to every 14 days. Make sure the top 3 cm of soil are dry before watering. This will help prevent overwatering.
Temperature and humidity
The peace lily thrives in an environment with temperatures between 18 and 24 degrees Celsius. It does not tolerate temperatures below 12 degrees well. As for humidity, maintain a medium level between 50% and 70% to ensure its well-being.
The right fertilizer
During spring and summer, fertilize your peace lily every 45 days with a balanced liquid fertilizer. This will help the plant grow lush and produce beautiful flowers.
The pot and soil
Although we do not have specific information about the type of soil, we recommend using a well-draining substrate to prevent waterlogging. Repotting can be done when the plant has filled its current pot, preferably in spring.
