Tulbaghia violacea – African Wild Garlic in Bloom All Summer

Tulbaghia violacea, known as African wild garlic or society garlic, is a highly attractive and generous perennial herbaceous plant. Native to southern Africa, it produces elegant umbels of small, delicate and fragrant lilac-violet tubular flowers throughout summer and autumn. They rise on slender, graceful stems above a clump of linear, aromatic leaves. A hardy plant that is easy to grow and has a striking decorative effect.

Care and maintenance

• Light: full sun or bright light – full sun exposure ensures abundant, long-lasting flowering
