How it works
Layer expanded clay, charcoal, and substrate; finish with decorative sand. Add your favorite plant (tropical: fittonia, peperomia, pilea; arid: small succulents) and complete the layout.

Indirect natural light; soil slightly moist; avoid standing water and direct sunlight; mist 1–2 times a week; ideal temperature 18–24 °C.
