Myrtillocactus, or blueberry cactus (Myrtillocactus geometrizans), is a succulent plant native to Mexico, with a ribbed, columnar stem and a bluish color. It is an easy-care, drought-resistant cactus, suitable for very bright interiors, sunny terraces, and cactus collections.

• Soil and repotting: use well-draining soil made of sand, perlite, and cactus soil to prevent root rot; repot when necessary, preferably in spring.
