Myrtle (Myrtus communis) – The Scent of the Mediterranean in a Pot

Myrtle (Myrtus communis) is one of the most beloved and iconic shrubs of the Mediterranean maquis: evergreen, fragrant, and beautiful in every season. Its small, glossy, leathery, intensely aromatic leaves are covered in summer with delicate, star-shaped white flowers that have a sweet, enveloping fragrance, followed in autumn by decorative and edible blue-black berries. A plant that brings with it the very essence of the Mediterranean landscape.
